11. the kitty we had when our first was born LOVED the new baby!
She seemed to think she was his other mom. When he cried, she would run to us meowing hysterically. She wouldn't stop until we went to take care of him. She also would sleep at his feet if we put him on a blanket on the floor. And she would purr until her body shook when she walked into the room and saw him. This went on her whole life until she died about 8 years ago.

Your new baby is lovely. Welcome to earth little guy!
