Words we could do without |
|
Yesterday I read a vanity article about words that have been overused. The list was vain collection of words and expressions that we could do without but it missed a few I think that would be more important to leave behind. My picks for words and phrases to drop: Homeland----We all live in the United States of America Homeland security------obvious , we are neither Embed------Change to in bed Religious right------Change to fundamentalist extremists Compassionate Conservative-----oxymoron I am sure there are many more so add your picks.
