Who is Sean Hannity?

I dont know if the name is spelled correctly. My one sided conservative local radio station is picking up his show apparently.

And they mentioned another one called 'battle lines' or something featuring a table of liberals and conservatives.

Can anyone tell me anymore about these two shows and what I should be prepared for?

Today, our station was taking calls from listeners to see what changes we'd like made. I wrote an email he read on the air stating that I felt the station was one sided and needed to be more balanced.
My email got a few 'dittos' for lack of a better word, but many of them want the Hannidy guy.
Talk radio is becoming a formidable enemy that is difficult to fight! Fortunately our local talk show hosts allow equal time and dont pick and choose there calls to support there point like Rush does.

However, Kennedy gets cut-off whenever he answers the ugly personal attacks. I suggest that DU readers flood Fox with e-mails every Monday evening demanding that Sean Vanity be taken off the air unless they allow Kennedy two minutes to answer the outrageous smears that Sean is infamous for. I'd like to see him do his tough guy act interviewing, oh, let's say Mike Tyson.

He's a right-wing flesh-bag talk-show host in the same mold as Rush Limbaugh. He's smug, arrogant, hypocritical, and a bully. He co-hosts the Fox News program "Hannity and Colmes" with Alan Colmes. On this show Fox News' famous slogan "fair and balanced" is tossed away. Conservatives and liberals that agree with Hannity are fawned over, while all other liberals are attacked by Hannity as Colmes sits back and doesn't say a word. It's not uncommon for Hannity and as many as two other right-wingers to appear on the show with a token liberal guest, with Hannity and his side (usually Ann Coulter or Laura Inghram) blasting the liberal to pieces. Like most right-wing hypocrites, Hannity attacks anyone that criticizes the war in Iraq, and of course Hannity did not serve in the armed forces because, as he put it, "I wasn't asked to."

So, to sum it up: I hate Hannity so much that I no longer can watch Hannity and Colmes. While I sort of admire Alan Colmes for not lowering himself to Hannity's level, he unfortunately does not stick up for our side, so liberals and Democrats take a beating every single night on H&C.
