(Steve) Irwin Takes Baby to Crocodile Feeding
BRISBANE, Australia - Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin took his month-old son to his first croc feeding on Friday, offering the reptile a chicken with one hand and holding the baby in the other.

With a capacity crowd looking on, Irwin dangled a dead chicken before the 13-foot crocodile named Murray, which snapped up the offering. Irwin's tiny son Bob looked on from his other arm.

"He's one-month-old, so it's about time Bob got out there and did his first croc demo," the Australian celebrity told the crowd at his Australian Zoo.

Irwin's wife Terri, who gave birth to her second child on Dec. 1, also attended the show, billed as Bob's "croc feeding debut."

2. I think he's a moron, but...
I can see what he was thinking. Irwin grew up around dangerous animals, and wants to teach his children that, if properly prepared and cautious, it can be safe to work with animals like crocodiles. However, parading a one-month old child around like he did is just stupid. I can't believe Terri didn't stop him.

7. I like Steve Irwin and all - but that was dumb
And I'll admit there are some nights I'm rooting for the croc when Steve's too over the top.

10. That's insane
I think I remember seeing him doing something like that with his daughter, too. I can't believe any parent would take such a risk, no matter how confident they were in their abilities to handle such an animal.
