So, I bought a house today

My first home, to be specific. Yay, me! I think that all the pups will be happy there, too. AND, there's only one step in the entire house, so my big (now 3-legged) Dane can save his energy for climbing on/off my bed (where he is, right now).

I'm very fortunate/lucky/blessed to have been able to do this, considering the times we live in.

Can't wait 'til 2037 when she'll be all paid for! SO...who wants to help me move?

He starts chemo next week, matter of fact. I, of course, base his quick recovery on my cooking all his meals for him. I'm such a sucker.

He's a little...uh, groggy in that shot. I've had danes throughout my childhood, but he's my first one of my own. He's got a little something else in him. Two-time shelter loser, this one.

He felt so bad he went out and got several gallons of carpet cleaner and spent the morning doing it.

He looked at yards first and the houses on them second. So he just took out a mortgage on a larger yard/dog toilet that happens to have a decent house on it too.

Re: the pee on the carpet thing, AFAIK, Simple Green seems to work as well as the enzyme cleaner stuff.

I bought that Urine Gone, didn't really work, but the Bissell (or maybe Hoover) remover seems to remove the stain/smell on contact, like in the OxyClean commercials.

And, one of my neighbors just started a canine cleanup business where she will come to our yard and *ahem* remove the offending matter once a week. $15 a week. A bargain at any price. No more yelling at those damn Midlo Kidlos to clean up the dog poop and having the little one get the dry heaves. :eyes:
