6. I'm just outside of Ft. Worth
They just said, on the Weather channel, we'll have a "long night ahead." It is December, isn't it? This seems more like April/May weather. :eyes:

3. I'm with you!
((((good vibes))))

The LBN folks are just hoping one touches down right on W's ranch, and even then I'm sure they're mostly kidding (at least, I hope).

I'll be thinking about your man.

I'm sure your husband has enough sense to know when to take cover.

He should be just fine. :pals:

Don't worry too much-it does no good.

And it looks like those storms will be coming my way by New Years Eve.

18. It's passed through our area, for now...
..my cats hate me at the moment. It was quite a comedy routine...I'd get one of them in the closet,, and then the other would get out...finally, after rounding them both up a third time we stayed in the most interior closet about 10 minutes. Pumpkin was pretty calm, but Bear started growling.

They are evacuating DFW now b/c of a tornado warning.

20. UPDATE:
FORT WORTH, Texas -- Severe storms with strong winds, heavy rain and hail prompted tornado warnings across North and Central Texas Friday, leaving at least one dead and several injured.

Flash flood warnings have been issued for Tarrant County and northeastern Johnson County until 7:15 p.m., and eastern Denton County until 8:15 p.m. A tornado watch has been issued for the area until 2 a.m. Flying debris has injured people in Groesbeck, Texas, said Sherald Wood, the marketing director of Limestone Medical Center.

The Waco Tribune-Herald is reporting one dead and 12 injured in Central Texas and a tornado touched down at about 3:15 p.m. at a College Station apartment complex, the Bryan College Station Eagle.

The tornado left a five-mile path of destruction in the College Station area spokeswoman Rhonda Seaton said.

Tornado watch until 8 p.m. tonight.

I did get in touch with my husband...he is still driving...so far, just south of Dallas he says.

Thanks for all the good thoughts and vibes.
