I'm watching Superman returns and here are my first impressions:
Kate Bosworth is so insipid, bland,no emotions come out of her.

Compared to her Margo Kidder was an Atom Bomb!

On the other hand,Kevin Spacey is a great villain.

And he even looks a little like Gene Hackman in the original

movies!

But I'm about half the movie and I think it's one of the

best.

Well it's a lot of fun at this point.

I would love to know your opinion...

1. I liked it.
I watched it back when I home sick, a couple weeks ago. I thought it was fun. I really liked Brandon Routh, he was good, or so I though. ;)
I adore Kevin Spacey in everything he does! He's just fantastic.

4. Pre pre-credits teaser was good...
But the music... I've heard it somewhere before... which sums the movie up: We've seen it all before; they should have called it "Superman Remade".

And Kate Bosworth ruins it, nipples and all, who seems to simply lust over the Rubber-Man of Steel rather than be in LOVE with him. (like you said, she doesn't know how to act. For Lois it was about love. Not looking like she wants to drop to her knees and *ahem*...)

And why is the suit made out of rubber, complete with goofy color scheme?! (the blue is okay but the red is too dark and the rubber makes him look like he's got stiff goosebumps.) Christopher Reeve didn't need to wear rubber... and during lunch breaks, I bet the rubber outfit stunk pretty bad too.

Bryan Singer wasted his time IMHO, and as such not only made Superman Returns a glossy embarrassment, he also lost the chance to make X3 into something decent (and be far more likely to have ensured it of another sequel, which I doubt will happen now thanks to the hacksaw job from that whats-his-name who couldn't cobble X3 together...)

10. Kate Bosworth seemed like bad casting to me
She's supposed to be the woman Superman is madly in love with? I just don't see it.

11. So,my brilliant analysis of this movie is this:
I'm to damned tired to play the Ebert so I say: Great movie,

#3 in my list and I predict a "Son of Superman " movie.

Good night everybody,I'm dead...

13. Spacey was great
The plot was too consumed with tying up loose ends and moved too slowly. A sequel might be better. I liked Brandon Routh. He seemed to have studied Christopher Reeve as Spacey did Gene Hackman.

Agree with your take on Kate Bosworth.
