So I set up a portable TV/Vcr in my room and put in a video for my 6 yr old daughter, got her pillows, blankets, stuffed animals, juice, etc.
She cuddled up in my bed to watch the movie and said:
"Thanks Dad, it's just like a nice hotel suite..."

2. I was 5 and my parents were having an argument in the car |
|
Finally there was silence, and I chimed in "That's the way the cookie crumbles". I have no memory of this but I'm told it broke the tension and they started laughing.

Fun stuff...kids. And of course yours are adorable. I can just see her settling in and saying this. lol
I have two funny ones.
One day i was driving with my ex and the girls. Out of no where we hear..."Daddy, Mommie's boobies are falling." I DIED. Ex looks at me with one eyebrow raised and just LOST it. Very funny.
The other was when my oldest was nearly two. Again sitting in the car...Why do all these things happen in the car i wonder  Anyhow, she says, "Mommie, i like Zach." (Zach is the son of a family friend and was 9 at the time) I said yes i know. She says..."He is my property." LMAO! Try explaining to a two yr old that people cannot be property. ;)

I can see a road sign: Caution, Falling Boobs Ahead! Love to see the international symbol for that...
I figured out where she got it from: They watch The Suite Life of Zack and Cody on Disney Channel.

My sister and niece came into Chicago to see me and we were driving up to Lincoln Park Zoo. It was hot and the traffic was really slow on Lake Shore Drive. Just as we got to the Chicago River the gates came down and the bridge had to go up for some tall boats to go through. It was taking forever.
So my 7 year old niece said: Well, I guess this is our lucky day!

of reducing situations to their least common denominator. What a gift!
I just can't understand people who say that they do not like children. What other group of people can that be said about and still be considered politically correct? How utterly horrible.
RL, I read your posts about your children and I must say that you're a good dad. You should be proud.
