2. I made an amazing pie this week
It started with a dried cherry and granny-smith apple filling that was originally made for pastry tarts.

When I got so frustrated working with the stupid cream cheese pastry crust (you have to have a cold surface and a cold room to work with it) - I decided to buy a box of Pillsbury pie crust, dump in the filling cover it with the second crust and bake it.

The pie was WAY better than the few tarts I turned out. I would provide a picture but the pie itself is long since eaten.

MMMMMMMMMMMMM, pie!
