So I post a video(username: evirus) complaining about a bunch of people who use the video discription to spam their way into every search resualt. One of the guys I mention comes up and calls me a faggot and a hippie. So I post a video responding to his comments, then he accuses me of never having a girlfriend(obviously he didn't read the comments on the last video because she specifically refers to me as "love"). And now he has started going to every video I've posted, and types in the one word comment "fag". People like this justify the ability to legally slap someone!

1. There are a lot of idiots on youtube

So many in fact that sometimes the place makes freerepublic look like a bastion of sanity. My advice is to call him out on it. Post everything you just said here on every one of your videos and tell people what he's doing. Make him look like a loser with too much time on his hands. But don't be too heavy handed about it. Make fun of him. Ridicule him. Eventually he'll get bored and give up. His kind always does.

2. Why would someone call you a cigarette?

That's the weirdest thing I've ever heard in my life. Is that supposed to be an insult?

this must be why they turn off the comments after you've posted about three comments, because of people who do this sort of thing. I would hit 'mark as spam' and ignore it, or whatever protocol they have for reporting trolls. I don't think retaliation is a good idea. I know what I think about people who post nasty comments like that. I've only responded to one one time, because it was a slogan from a website that is just full of nasty hateful people so I replied below it that it was tripe from a certain website and was tired and stupid, because I was in a bad mood, lol. Those kinds of comments only make the person leaving them look bad. Sorry this has happened. You are so right about those people leaving those spammed search things. Those are almost as annoying to me as those folks who post 12 seconds of shitty cell phone video. In what reality do they think that is useful to anyone, lol. I know since google now owns it they have the capacity to zap this stuff but I don't know if they will. They need to zap it and ban the users, because they are bogging the whole site down.

Anyhow, I'm sorry that has happened and that you are being harrassed. Try not to let it get to you.

as long as their commenting on something related i just respond to them but if they just comment with a one word insult or on a video that isn't related ill just remove the comment
