I have two ex-lovers in the last fourteen years.
Edited on Sat Dec-30-06 11:33 PM by Roon
One I was with for 14 years, the second one off and on for three years. My first ex moved to wyoming and started a life with his new boyfriend. My second ex is going to wyoming to start a new life with HIS new boyfriend. I was friends with both of them and now they are both going to be gone.

I can't wait until spring. :-(

sorry you are losing friends, that's sad.

2. Spring means I can kick up my workouts a couple of notches
by being able to run and inline skate. I want to be down to my goal weight by Labor Day 2007. I just feel better when I can be outside, work up a sweat. Right now I am stuck doing aerobics inside and it's just not as fun.

All my remaining friends are too busy with their careers and relationships to spend any time with me. It's going to be a lonely winter.

7. DU is always there for me
I am not even going to try and date while I am this overweight. Gay men are shallow and won't give you a second look unless you are inshape. Even if THEY are out of shape. It's crazy! That is why my goal is Labor Day 2007. There is always a party at the gay park that week-end and I am going there to try and meet people.

17. You know, if you'd like the help of a personal trainer
I'd be happy to oblige. For free, of course.

3x certified trainer, 1x certified sports nutritionist. Just here to help.

4. It sounds like Wyoming is the place to be.
I hope somebody comes along to give you comfort.

8. A lot of Denverites escape to Wyoming when they get sick of the city
Imagine,no traffic james, no long lines. It's the least populated state in the country! That is what makes it so attractive to run away to.

11. Roon, I live in Bangor, Maine.
Half of the state's population is here because they've made their escape from somewhere else so I know what you're saying.

Me, I like having people around. And you, may the new year bring you your heart's desire.

5. I read your subsequent post, I'm starting my exercise routines now.
Edited on Sun Dec-31-06 12:50 AM by HypnoToad
Even bought a new bench that should make some exercises possible (especially with my neck issue...)

As for lovers, I had one. which ended 6 years, 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, and 15 minutes ago.

The other I don't count, because it never actually was.

The only friend I had (non-sexual) moved to California a bit over 8 years ago.

By spring we'll know if:
1. I've made any effort
2. If the effort was worthwhile
3. I end up worse because of being overzealous in my attempts to make an effort

Some factors being out of my control, of course, but all things considered...

And exercising inside is better. I dislike going outside; the way people stare, gawk and gape, laugh, make comments...

9. I hear you about exercising outside
Every other runner out there is railthin and in shape. And here I come along with my fat ass, huffing and puffing. I have been in shape before, a couple of times. If you have any questions or would like a place to go to get more information on your diet and routine, let me know!

15. Well now. All the good men can't have left for Wyoming.
I hope that you find some man who will appreciate the sort of guy who shares his place with a geriatric cat. Cats are chick magnets for some straight guys. Who knows? It could work for you too.
