In MN, my area, the typical high was 15 above 0, the low around 0.

Right now it's 42 above 0. (11:58PM, 30 Dec 2006)

5. 6 below zero (celsius).
I happen to know because we spend every New Years Eve outside with our horses, taking care they don't get hurt with all the commotion. Right now it's 8 plus.

9. Good to see you!
It has gotten pretty cold here, too, but no snow yet. Not even ice on my pond.

How are you?

10. Hi there!
It's very nice to see you!

I'm having some problems in my relationship and with my health but otherwise I'm fine. And how are you and Heidi und The Wiley And Excellent Cat Named Ginger?

I'm going to put on my long underpants now - ice or no ice, it will be very cold those two hours we'll spend sitting on straw bales at the horses place.

*coughs* I got my star back... do you happen to have anything to do with that?

A very happy New Year to the three of you!
:hi:

13. Only in Minnesota do the residents have to specify "above" or "below" zero.
;)

Since moving to Boise a little over six years ago, I have not experienced below zero weather. People just don't talk like that around here.

16. Closed to our normal
temperature. Visitors for the Fiesta Bowl are in shorts and short sleeved shirts. The rest of us are bundled up, but we are cold weather wimps in the valley.
