Favorite online personal photo gallery? |
|
As those of you who have been paying attention already know, my wife and I had our first son last week. So that we don't have to keep e-mailing pictures, we want to set up an online gallery for people to look at. I know of Photobucket, of course, and a friend of mine has recommended PicasaWeb. Thoughts?

But I think Yahoo has online photo-albums, and I think you can view them without signing up to yahoo. I am not sure though.

12. Flickr is by far the best. |
|
I have many friends who are avid photogs and they all use flickr.
You also might cross-post this in the photography group.

13. I have a Winkflash account - as well as photobucket. |
|
I like Winkflash because they have a lot of options for ordering prints and novelties, and they run pretty cheap. According to online reviews their photo quality is pretty decent as well. They also allow you to upload full versions of the photos. I haven't ordered prints yet, so I can't personally attest to their quality.

15. Since you're starting out, I recommend blogging it. |
|
Much more useful way to get pictures & stories across to distant family and friends. I wish I'd done that from the beginning. I'm going to start a blog soon for this, but in the meantime I use picturetrail, which lost two albums grrrrr and photobucket.
