6. Your best bet would be to get to Target
and get the Energizer quick recharger which comes with four 2500mAH batteries, and then get an additional pack of eight rechargeables, you won't go wrong. The batteries charge in fifteen minutes, so you'll always have spares around.

10. I bought Energizer rechargeable ones,
Target has a recharging unit and 4 batteries for a good price, using these will save you a lot money.

My new digital camera is a battery hog.

For my food scale. Nothing salacious. Unless weighing cheese is salacious. :D

36. Our digital also has a rechargeable battery -- long story
Summer of 2005, we're off on a three-week trailering trip from Calgary to Yellowstone, then on to the Black Hills. I recharge both batteries, and we're off. About six days later, when one battery is empty and the other is running down (lots of geyser shots), dipshit here realizes that he left the charger plugged into the wall in the kitchen. :banghead: This gives Mrs. Ironflange a good opportunity to sharpen her already formidable sarcasm skills. We call our son back home to tell him to courier us the charger, but he never answers. We leave messages, tell him to call back, but never hear back. He doesn't check the machine at the best of times. :banghead: We finally leave a final message for him to send the thing to the RV park in Custer, SD. We decide to hang in there till we're in the Black Hills, see what we can find in Rapid City. We make do with a couple of disposables. In Rapid City, we find a charger that the battery fits, thank goodness, but that night we discover the battery it's charging has puffed up, for lack of a better term. Something's wrong with the damn charger. :banghead: Next day, lo and behold, a courier pack appears at the RV park office, strangely enough, sonny boy DID get our message, and here it is. All that's left is to haul the thing back to Rapid City and return it. I take it into the shop and show what happened to the battery. The guy, same one who sold it to me, is really defensive until I tell him I just want to return the charger and don't expect him to pay for the ruined battery. Turns out this was a crappy charger that didn't have an automatic cut-off, it said in the instructions (in pidgin English) not to leave it on too long or it may over-charge the thing. :banghead: I found a replacement battery at Best Buy or something, so we're happy now. Sorry for going on so long, but this sordid tale had to be told. For love of God, don't leave your charger behind!

I had to go to the store for other stuff, so I picked up a four-pack of NiMH double-A's. Now I can have two in the camera and four in the charger.
