What a way to start the new year - Major Housecleaning is now done

Housecleaning.....UGH UGH UGH UGH!!!!

But something about my karma feels very at ease when everything is clean, organized and smelling good (well as good as it can smell with a cat living in the house.....but I'm trying).

Who wants to come over for beer???

Her New Year's resolution: "There are only two of us here and I'm not going to let the house get so messy any more."

We eat everywhere, so I periodically make a pass through the house picking up dishes and glasses. I think I'm doing a good deed by putting them in the sink.
No More.

But based on past experience this won't last long.

9. He hid for awhile

mainly when I was vacuuming. But I just heard him yowl about 15 minutes ago. Poor guy, he's horny and not getting any satisfaction other than his ability to lick his own private parts!!!

Although Abbie has been pretty good about the spraying (then again I'm pretty liberal when it comes to vacuuming and using air freshener).

I'm looking forward to that adorable fuzzy pet!!!! (although Abbie is pretty good right now - minus the yowling)

16. I don't think I had the flu

But I was coughing up some nasty junk and running a low grade fever. I called out work on the 31st and today.

But by 1pm I felt well enough to house clean!!!

gotta do it again, but am waiting for the kiddo to go back to school Monday to start. Until then, we will just live in the post-Xmas-New-Year funk: candy wrappers, stuff in boxes, and a little dust on the coffee table.

But good for you. Drink a beer for me. I am anal about a clean house. I can't start any activity that requires intellect until I have a spotless house. Isn't that SICK??
