Austin DUers...peace rally with Dennis K tomorrow (1/3/04)

Was just trolling in the Activism/Events forum amd saw this:

Apparently there's gonna be a peace rally at the capital from 1 to 3pm tomorrow and Dinnis Kucinich is gonna speak at it.

Was just wondering if anyone wanted to get together and maybe do a late breakfast or lunch beforehand and then hit the rally together.

1. Thank goodness I caught your post

I'm having my usual Senior momemts this week, plus I'm in a time warp with the year change and the
holidays and just with the work schedule being out of my routine with on and off days. I couldn't figure what
the day was today. Thought I was in Saturday mode. I'm glad the day is Friday, and I'll re set my alarm clock
for tomorrow for the web cast for Kucinish and Willie. I wouldn't be happy to miss that one. Both men are
all I admire in what I believe to be Moral and sincere wonderful role models. They give back to the communities
instead of what the most of the dems and all the republicans are doing. This would please Jesus, I'm sure.

In case another Sr moment takes hold tomorrow, Kindly remind me just as a extra wake up call.

2. I'll try to post a reminder...

but I'm gonna be at the rally and who knows what after that. Plus, though I'm only 33, I'm kinda prone to "senior" moments myself. Ask around - the other Austin DUers will tell you I can be a wee bit scatter-brained. :-)

I would love to meet before the rally, but won't be able to get away in time. I hope we can meet at the rally, though. I always enjoy your input here in DU. Are you going to the concert? If so, would you, or anyone else who happens on this, like to meet before the concert? Feel welcome to PM if you would like.

7. Dunno about the concert

Not sure I've got the extra cash after xmas tapped me out. But I'd love to meetup at the rally. I've been trying to think of a good place to hook up at the rally and was thinkingi maybe by the big statue of the guy on the horse that's in front of the capital.
