Is this thread still posted here? I haven't seen it in a couple of months. It used to be required weekly reading for me. :-(

but when I lived in Portland, I got a cable movie edition TV Guide every week, and it was easy to list the movies for the coming week and the times they were showing.

Now that I'm in Minneapolis, there is no cable edition of TV Guide. Instead, I get the monthly Time-Warner guide, which lists all the movies for the month. I found after a week or two that picking out each week's movies from the monthly list literally took four or five hours, as opposed to 90 minutes back in Portland. I simply couldn't make up the list anymore, since my silly clients keep insisting that I translate documents for them.

I'm thinking of starting a "highlights" list that covers only the very best of the week's films.

Highlights list would be fantastic! I always appreciated your list and used it on weekends to determine how I would spend my viewing time. It was a great service to us.
