anyone here ever study dreams?

I had a bad dream in which I found out that I had six fingers on my right hand. I panicked and then decided not to go hang out with a girl or the cool people. (my dream took place when I was in high school)
It was a bad dream. What does it mean?

when you felt self-conscious about your body. Did you ever feel that way? I know I did.

2. Dream messages are individualistic

To really understand meanings in your dreams it would be a good idea to try to remember them and write them down when you awake. It isn't as hard as it sounds, and you can find patterns in your dreams, including symbols that mean something special for you. In doing this type of work, I've had precognative dreams (and it was handy to have had them written down with the date so I could go back and prove it!) and symbolic dreams. I don't think my dream life would be so rich if I hadn't started writing the dreams down. You might wish to try it and see what happens to you.
