Where do you get your news? (Besides here)
I need to make a habit of listening to NPR. I will tune to C-SPAN and CNN. I check out MSNBC occasionally when they are NOT doing Hardball, Scarborough, or Abrams. It is interesting that MSNBC works in conjunction with Newsweek, which is not as Freeped as Time.

1. BBC on BBC America, RFI (Radio France), the International Channel
for broadcast; the Guardian, NY Times, Boston Globe and assorted left-wing websites and publications.

And of course, DU!

6. Hate too admit...
Spend way too much time on Yahoo's news... at least they pull from semi-legit sources.

Salon, New York Times, Chicago Tribune, The Nation, Time, Newsweek...

Tom Tomorrow's blog at thismodernworld.com is a good launch pad when he's not on vacation.

7. NPR and Washington Post
I get headlines only from DU. If the article someone's linked to isn't from, say, Reuters, I go to Reuters or AP or the Post site to read it (if the Post has its own article independent of the wires).

9. Mostly NPR
But I also like to go to "Newspaper Pages from Around the World." It has front pages of newspapers plus links to their pages. I love reading these papers because I walk away with such a different feeling for the world, like there's hope or something.

Thanks to the person who posted all those links above. We do have our newshounds here at DU, don't we!

12. Well, I turned off the TV, so that leaves
The Internet. I check out Yahoo! News, but I find myself wanting to comment on the article at the end, and I get frustrated when I can't do it, so I return to --

The DU.

I do a lot of searching on the Internet, too, when I read about something that intrigues me. So I'm covered!

Thanks, Kixot for your awesome links! (that took a little bit of typing).

13. BBC & ITN
I don't bother with any other "news". I used to watch CBS with Dan Rather but I gave up on him, everytime I watched it I ended up pissed off. :argh:

16. DU is my first choice.
Fuggedabout Terrorvision! NPR is the closest thing you'd get on Radio, and they can be hopelessly naive. DU starts from a position that I am comfortable with, and the must-link policy in LBN opens a world of sources.

I also like aljazeera's English-language site. It provided the only coverage of the Iraq invasion that even got CLOSE to objectivity.

Long live the glorious Cube Gophers who post on LBN!
