What is your favorite Jay and Silent Bob Movie?
For me it is a toss up between Clerks and Dogma.

1. Clerks will always be my favorite
Edited on Sat Jan-03-04 01:27 PM by DS1
In fact, my roommate is watching Daredevil, I walked in during the Elektra hanging sandbags scene, and the first thing I thought of was the cat from Clerks.

10. Kevin Smith's Daredevil miniseries
Did you read the Daredevil miniseries that Kevin wrote? I'm not a big superhero comic fan, but it was pretty good.

3. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back!
If for no other reason than Jay's Internet rant:

All you motherfuckers are gonna pay, You are the ones who are the ball-lickers. We're gonna fuck your mothers while you watch and cry like little bitches. Once we get to Hollywood and find those Miramax fucks who are making that movie, we're gonna make 'em eat our shit, then shit out our shit, then eat their shit which is made up of our shit that we made 'em eat. Then you're all fucking next. Love, Jay and Silent Bob.

4. Dogma
I'm not sure how I feel about Kevin Smith, the premises for him movies (except Jay and Silent Bob) were all really interesting, but it always seems like he falls just short as a writer and director at making the movies as they should have been.

5. One time, my cousin Walter was on this plane... True Story...
:+

I really like Clerks, Dogma, and Chasing Amy. However, for some incomprehensible reason, I like Mallrats best.

8. Mallrats!
Probably the most maligned of Kevin Smith's movies, but I loved the cheeseball comedy of it.

16. Agreed.
It was the first movie to really get me into Smith's ouvre (I didn't really like Clerks the first time I saw it -- it's grown on me since).

I know "Mallrats" always gets shit on, but damn, that was a funny movie. Appreciate it for what it is: an homage to the eighties "mall movies," and move on.

I love that movie. Will have it on DVD soon.

Also, didn't Jay just recently go into or get out of rehab for a heroin problem?
