5. dead of winter ,a frigid 59 F
in Palm Springs. Full of Canadians, the paper even has a Canadain news page. Now if only there was remedial driving for Albertans. Not much trafic there I guess.

14. It's supposed to get up to 76 here
in midstate Oklahoma. I know have to go pull out some warm weather wear. I think it's supposed to get colder tomorrow or Monday though. I can't wait because I like for there to be real seasons and none of this hogwash of spring weather in the middle of winter.

16. Holy cow, it's 73F in So. Maryland!
Avg. temp for this time of year is about 40F. Every window in the house is open -- and nearly every window has a cat.

This is fabulous! I'm digging it while it lasts, which won't be long.
