old fashioned ham loaf in the oven -- remember it? |
|
I rarely have enough ham to make a ham loaf, but I have one in the oven baking tonight! Mmmmm with that vinegary brown sugar glaze like grandma used to make.
And twice baked potatoes in process, too.

4. Just had it on New Year's Day. Three lbs of ham and pork ground |
|
up, added some chopped onion, cracker crumbs, an egg or two, dried mustard; baked for an hour then 20 minutes longer with the glaze of vinegar, dried mustard and brown sugar. Next day we had a little left over and had sandwiches with mayo.
