I like how it incorporates some of the old-style aspects into its design.

15. The 2005 version of the 69 mustang.
I once had a 70 Mach 1, but I sold It. :(

But I still have my 69 fastback. :)

A short video clip of my 69 Mustang a friend of mine (Jerry) Is driving It.

I recorded this about 12 years ago on a VHS camera.

6. Hey NSMA, I'm currently building a 90 LX with a 351W for someone...
Balanced forged bottom end, Edelbrock Performer heads and intake, 6-speed gearbox...TBA super-or-turbocharger

Wish I was keeping it for myself...

I didn't know you were a Ponyhead!

11. Big time and a muscle car freak!
Wish you were doing it for me! I almost bought a Cobra instead of mine but then decided two things:

I didn't need the speeding tickets

I'd rather hold my coffee than shift as long as it had go fast anyway..I took the automatic GT.

I'm waiting for the 05's to arrive and trying to keep the miles low on mine for trade value

That is sweet...totally caught off guard by the arrival of the 2004 beauty! I agree on the tickets though...I get enough in the junker that I have!

Points be damned, I may have to get one anyway!

32. And the WHEELS they are putting on them are cool!
Mine came with California mags and I LOVE them..beats the hell out of those cheezy ugly alloys and beats the BIG hell out of spending a ridiculous amount of money for wheels...I dod switch the stabilizers out on my car for a better racing suspension although the stock stuff was good...I like to corner on winding roads without my coffee spilling at high speed...

Edited on Sun Jan-04-04 05:02 AM by nothingshocksmeanymo
but the one we saw at the LA car show last year looked great in person..it looks chopped off in the convertible and I think the car should be lowered an inch or so anyway.

I mean here's the ass on the coupe:

And here's my ass, only white :D

had a restored 65 fastback, but sadly he sold it. :(

I like the older body styles better. All cars look the same now in my silly little opinion. :hi:

22. I've been wanting one of those
ever since I saw it in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords. Now if they were to put a short stroke V-10 in it, wow!! That's a 40 valve Boss 351 with a 6 speed. It has a free flowing cross ram intake from a Cobra R and can be revved to 7000 rpm, it has a 3.55 bore X 3.54 stroke which makes 351 cu displacement. They stuffed this engine in a 99 GT.

21. Nice. the corvette thinks it is a Honda/Viper, the Pontiac
Solstice is very nice.

the Ford Freestyle wants to be a Volvo.

The Ford 500 is a Japanese luxury car wannabe.

( I remember beating the socks of quite a few V8's with my old Wankle engine) Some people just can't believe or stand the noise of that motor when it's running at 20,000 rpms. It is a screamer, for sure

25. I might want one, too
except I can tell just by looking at that little round bubble top that it's not a tall-person car. I'd be surprised if anyone over 6' would fit comfortably in it. Plus it doesn't come with a sunroof.

29. I guarantee it's designed with a 6' driver in mind.
They know their demographic; white males between 18 and 30.

I've had a few Mustangs, and I've always found them very accommodating for taller and bigger drivers.

although the cage design is a bit snug for anyone..it isn't miserably so....certainly no more than the Nissan Z's were.

It actually looks like a Mustang, unlike the crap coming from Ford for the past few decades.

Really evokes the late '60's muscle car Mustang. Neat!

Pathological consumption is one thing. A new car every 15 or 20 years is something else.

40. Nice looking car...
I've never been a fan of the Mustang design. Always found it (as well as all other Ford vehicles) to look, well just plain boring.

But I think recently they have some nice lookin cars rollin out (like this and the GT -- very cool lookin sporty car).

I live around Detroit and the Auto Show is in a few weeks. Don't know if I'll go, but if I did, I would hope it'd be better than last year's, which sucked. It seemed like just about everything on display was an SUV.
