I had to drive to Lethbridge to get my car fixed. The way back was so cool, the prairie on a moonlit night, saw a shooting star, and tons of mirages. The mirages come when a car goes over a hill in a little dip in the highway...it looks like there is more than one car..then the lights just dissapear. oooooo.
But it was so cold, I had my car's heat on full blast and it was still chilly in my car.
I long for summer!

I envy you in Houston. I'd take the summer heat you get there any day over the cold Ohio winters we have here.

4. I was in Texas for Xmas a couple of years ago |
|
We were in Corpus, actually Mustang Island. The weather was awful the whole time, but it was fun watching all the Texans freaking out whenever a freeze was predicted. You'd have thought that Armageddon was on the way!

5. It was so cold here today |
|
That I accidentally pulled the head off my block-heater cord's plug this morning, glad I plugged er in though. My co-worker did not and his car wouldn't start.

7. It wasn't at all bad here today |

Same deal in Drum. It was about -24, but the wind didn't pick up as predicted.
So, was it fun to visit the big city?

8. There is a feeling of comfort when I go there |

I think the access to everything is what it is...I feel much more comfortable in cities.

9. My wife covered up all the plants on our balcony... |
|
...last night.
"Because it might freeze," she said.
It didn't.
But I've worked gassing up cars in twenty below (F) weather, the gasoline was maybe 40% butane, and the wind was blowing up my pants, sans-long-underwear, so I suppose I could live in Canada, eh?
