The other half the time it's Robin Williams...

Then the third half of the time it's gotta be Patrick Troughton...

24. John Cusack, maybe
As me at this age, anyway. I think we're around the same age -- not sure -- but a degree of resemblance between us has been remarked upon more than once, starting with when I had no idea who the dude was. And now I can actually see it, and the parts he sometimes plays would make him a decent fit to me, too.

I mean, it could be a worse approximation.

Richard Gere, too, as far as looks go (I used to resemble him to an extent, anyway) but not really in any roles I can think of.

Kurt Russell wouldn't be a bad choice, either, not in looks (though he was a great Elvis) but in some of the roles he's played. But not, much as I love him, as Jack Burton... :D

And George Clooney, perhaps, though I look nothing like him (I wouldn't mind looking like him, though). :-)

Here I was, thinking that none of the actors I could think of look like me or have roles that approximate my character and now I'm coming up with all sorts. I'd better stop this before I list Pauly Shore...

70. maybe Natalie Portman?
I don't know...or Mena Suvari? They are both kind of soft-spoken like I am, both that have that 'sweet, innocent look' that I'm always told (to my chagrin) that I have. For the older me I have no idea, but I wouldn't object to Diane Lane.

84. yes, from the very beginniing, in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"
just those few minutes he spent on camera in that film pretty much made that movie for me. I was so young I didn't even understand the effect it had on me, just exactly what I was feeling or why, but it was intense to say the least.

138. My son's lived on Godzilla all through elementary. Funny story...
Once we were passing through Chicago and our oldest son had learned there was a Godzilla conference with the japanese guys who had acted in the original films. So he begged us to take a detour to the hotel. So we show up, everybody is all Godzilla'd up but we had missed the original introductions. So I see the japanese guys sitting in a room drinking sake and ask them for autographs for our son. They were great, bowing, shaking my son's hand, giving autographs etc.

Last place on earth we ever expected to be.:-)
