Should the Manloves hook up? (The Sims)

I'm still playing the old original Sims, as my computer's memory is insufficient for expansion packs (I had Hot Date, but it just kept crashing) or Sims Online. I have a pair of, uh, brothers living together. I was planning to put them both in the military, so I named them Dontask and Dontell Manlove. (Don't kill me!) However, I've been a little squeamish about getting them all kissy-huggy because a) I'm a little squeamish, and b) I think there are game-related reasons for preferring them to be just close friends, eg, no problems with jealousy if one hugs his other friends in the other's presence. On the other hand, I wanna see if gays/lesbians in The Sims can really adopt.

So whattayasay? Do Dontask and Dontell get their satisfaction, or do they languish in the closet forever? Only you can decide their fates!

Note to mods: If this is offensive to anybody, or too fluffy, or just insufficiently amusing, I won't mind if you make it disappear.

2. See if you can coax the guys to do really gross homosexual acts. As much as I'd love to go into great detail for your edication, that might get this post deleted or thread locked. :evilgrin: If one is gay but doesn't dig the other, make him a slut and have him cruise the whole SimmySinCity!

3. Restore the game to the saved level when you're done being filthy. :evilgrin:

What's so squeamish about homosexuality?

Should I make heterophobic comments, not that anybody would understand the comment yet alone the irony? (who has seen the parallel between the "proud to be gay" and "proud to be an american" bumper stickers? :shrug: At least we homos are accustomed to hate. Hetero americans are way too pompous and arrogant.)

2. They can adopt!

Sims of the same gender can do all of the things that hetero-sims can. The only dubious thing is that you have to make them. In other words, homosexuality is a choice in the Sims.

But once you make them really, really love each other, the phone will ring and you'll be asked if you want to adopt.

I haven't played the Sims for about a year, but I'm pretty sure that any Sims but children can reproduce.

Also got to see one of my female neighbors get slapped by my sim for having the audacity to hug his boyfriend.

Sims can be so petty.

I'm glad to know that those capabilities are available on the Sims. I for one have all of the expansion packs, and it's an addictive game. Glad to know others play it, and now I can experiment a little more. :)

I should maybe mention that I've had many gay and lesbian couples in The Sims, but don't remember ever getting the "Do you want to adopt?" phone call. Now I'll see.

9. I have several...

...gay and lesbian couples in my neighbourhoods. I also got the gay marriage patch so they could get married. See even in Sim World we have to wait for government permission. ;)

Anyway, prior to getting the gay marriage patch I had several unmarried LG couples, and they were all offered the choice of adopting, and they all adopted and are doing fine. :)

Hell I even created an Absolutely Fabulous family (LOL), and bloody low and behold Eddy and Patsie fell in love and are now a couple all on their own.

Oh, and there is nothing to be squeamish about, my friend, after all, love is love. :)

10. I got real bored with the Sims real quick.

After I tried every combo of kinky sex & forcing them into domestic catastrophes (fire, infestations etc), poverty, & insanity - I started to build walls around them one at a time (Edgar Allan Poe-like) a let them starve.

They turn into a nice decorative urn that may be placed on a mantle or pedestal.

11. my Sims campaigned in 2000

I have no idea if my houses are still available for download. I made the best houses with political posters and everything. If someone like one of my houses they would end up with artwork I created that showed pictures of Bush as Hitler and Mini Me etc.....

BTW one of my favorite houses was owned by a gay couple. They had parties and lured the local men with promises of toasters. They also had lesbian best friends next door.

Give them some good christian girls
