I have been here for just a short time and already I have developed a strange addiction to this site. At first I thought many of the posters a bit strange and over the top and now I am really really getting into reading instead of reacting. I must say that I am learning and being challenged as well.

Is this a normal process or should I seek counseling?

12. Seek Counseling

One of the signs that you're no longer normal is that you react with outrage at things that don't bother the people around you. It took me a very long time to be able to look at Bush's picture in the newspaper, and even now I turn the page quickly. Sometimes on a bus I sit next to someone with the paper wide open to Bush's grinning mug. I don't know how they stand it. It doesn't seem to bother them.

It's helped me tremendously to know that I'm not alone. There are people here who are even more addicted than me!

Living in this country and NOT being a conservative earning over 80 thou a year is a challenge, and yet I get up every morning and slay the metaphorical beast (out of habit, I suppose.)
