Which is cooler..watching David Banner turn into the hulk or watching the hulk turn back into David Banner?
I love watching the incredible Hulk when it turns back into David Banner. It fascinates me to watch a huge, green, and raging monster slowly shift back into a intelligent, kind, and helpless human being. But why? Is it the noise I hear while watching the transformation, is it the color of his eyes when he changes, or is it the guilt he always feels after the transformation?
To me this transformation when watching this series is always moving because it represents something we do everyday. We lose our tempers, seek revenge when we are mocked, we hurt others to prove we are better, but then we feel guilty and even worse off afterward. We all want to be as powerful as the hulk, we all want to be taken seriously, and we want to be right all the time. But we never want to be wrong, we never want to apologize, and we never want to acknowledge our dependence on others. We want the hulk to be human, we want others like George Bush to acknowledge his mistakes and our needs, and we all want to be loved by those who fear us. But will that ever happen, or is it as impossible as the transformation that occurs in every episode of an outdated television series?
