Happy Day for the Skins fans........
The return of Joe Gibbs,

this is a more heralded return than that silly hobbit movie.

2. From those 'Skins fans among my friends who've talked about it to me...
They're as happy about the return of Joe Gibbs as I am about the return of Roy Williams to Carolina!:D

B-)

4. Snyder has NOT learned from "The Boss"
and has a bad habit of overpaying for talent past it's prime......

5. ya mean like neon deion?
not only a ridiculous waste of $$$$ for a guy who did NOTHING (except didn't he drop the ball once finally he got it?) but it managed to make the team really mad, what with him landing on the field in a helicopter and all.

6. Congrats, good choice - Wayne Fontes was available, though
As was every Lions coach over the past 40 years (who are still alive). Wait a couple of years, and Mariucci's career will be ruined, too.

10. He didn't put in the hours to be a NFL coach
Gibbs will because all of his kids are grown.

9. That will be the "Division of Death" next year
I wouldn't be surprised to see someone go 10-6 and have no chance of getting in the playoffs(if they play in the NFC east).

11. Expectations are incredibly high...
it's hard to imagine how he can possibly meet them.

As a relative newcomer to the Washington area, I had NO idea that the frenzy would break out that currently is rocking it.

So many stars have to align in order to produce a winner. Not sure if it can happen no matter how much he walks on water.

12. its acutally not that hard to imagine
There is some good talent on that team. Spurrier just used it all wrong. Jeremiah Trotter was used wrong. LaVar Arrington was used wrong. Ramsey is a good quarterback who did phenomenal considering the unholy beating Spurriers "scheme" provide him with. There is a good team in that locker room somewhere.

If they still had Stephen Davis (one of the most boneheaded moves I've seen recently), I'd pick them to win the division next year. Spurrier had that team playing way below its potential.

13. I hope you're right but I don't know whether to trust a SF fan :-)
Actually, I am a Colts fan, having grown up in Indy.
