Kobe update: Pam Mackey can't be happy about this
Did y'all know he cut a rap record with 50 Cent? It's on 50 Cent's new album.

http://www.50cent-central.com/misc/thug-poet.htm

I'm not posting the lyrics. Warning: highly offensive to probably everybody.

But I'm thinking his lawyer is not going to be happy with his releasing a song titled "Thug Poet" that talks about his Glocks and cocaine right before his rape trial, you know?

3. WTF? He used to market himself as a "nice boy"
Actually, I happen to like some "gangsta" rap, but 50cent is not my cup of tea.

4. Kobe and 50 Cent have a lot in common
Namely, Kobe will be gettin' plugged more often than 50 Cent once he goes up the river.

5. kobe isn't going anywhere..
in the preliminary, the judge admonished the prosecution for even bringing the thing to trial. They don't have the evidence to convict him.

7. Sorry, but that's not what happened.
Kobe's lawyers tried to play it that way to the press, but the reality is very different.

11. I think you're wrong on that point--the judge did take the opportunity
to scold the prosecution. The local media here in Denver went apes**t on the judge, saying he overstepped the bounds. In any case, it wasn't the way Kobe's lawyers tried to present it, it was actually the judge.

13. The judge did "scold" the prosecution and Kobe's lawyers, too!
However, that was over some ugly happenings in the courtroom. The judge did not say that this should not be brought to trial.

8. really?
Blood on his T-shirt and the woman's underwear, the prosecution did the smart thing. They presented just enough evidence to get it into court. Nobody ever presents the entire case at a prelim. It's silly to give your case away and give the defense a year to prepare for it.

9. we'll see how it plays out this summer..
but girlfriend showing up with ummmmmmmm.. some other dudes DNA in her panties is not looking good. I'm sure the defense will take the DA to task on that, amongst other things.

12. Yeah
Some other dude's DNA versus her blood on Kobe's T-shirt, I'll go for the blood in evidence.

14. That's a fine head fake.
But a jury with complete instructions will not be spending its time worrying about that diversionary tactic.

6. This stuff was recorded back in 2000.
He also did a duet with Tyra Banks. It was all so bad that a planned album was scrapped by Columbia.
