"Stairway To Heaven" as it should be!
I just got a recording of JUST the guitar instrumentals for "Stairway To Heaven."

Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton. :headbang:

2. Exactly.
Overplayed to death.

But this version is worth hearing.

3. I would love to hear those guys do the "solo" to Free Bird
Awesome song. Yes it got overplayed, but I don't listen to much radio and it's kinda nice to hear it now and again.

After the plane crash what was left of the band refused to play it for the longest time, then only as an instrumental with one of Ronnie's hats on the mic stand.

Now Johnny sings it but as the song goes, things just can't be the same.

I just listened to about six different versions of "Stairway to Heaven"--ALL good. I just keep giving in to the "youtube" link.

7. Did you listen to the version by Rodrigo y Gabriela? I like that one too.
It's amazing how much stuff is available on You Tube. I hope their recent buyout doesn't have a negative effect on our ability to access off beat videos like these. Long live the Internets!

9. That was incredible.
Excuse me, but now I have to go back and find some more videos featuring Rodrigo y Gabriela.
