but last year I was trying to trap a raccoon that kept coming in my house through the cat door. I set the trap on the back porch, and a few hours later heard it go off.
I ran outside to see that I had caught a skunk
Now THAT was some funny slapstick while we tried to figure out how to release it.

4. We had one as a pet in the family, or my uncle did. |

They are very timid so one walked right up to me as I sat out side one night and I shopped breathing as that seemed like the best thing to do and since I am sure he thought I was dead he left.It was scary.

5. Yes, we were camping in northern Minnesota and the campground was |

crawling with raccoons. We were sitting around the fire and one walked right by my husband's lounge chair (sits pretty low to the ground) and its tail brushed his arm. It then hopped onto the picnic table and we realized it was a skunk, not a raccoon! It grabbed a bag of potato chips in its mouth and jumped down and waddled off into the brush with our Lays. We let it.
