Tell us one thing you did today.
UIt can be anything: Sonething good, something bad, sopmething routine, something out of the ordinary...

Today, for example, I put a shirt on.

12. After stressing over it for a week, I reprimanded an underling
for his work times. I really shouldn't have felt as bad about it as I have been. He's been playing the 3 of his supervisors against each other like a teenager with divorcing parents. The other two voted me to be the one to tell him to cut the crap and get his work done, but in such a way as he doesn't up and quit.

17. I tried to do a superhuman thing today
While walking down the cellar stairs. Carrying a lighter, some kindling, the phone and a 20-lb bag of kitty litter with a small tear at the top, which I looped my fingers thru. The kitty litter won. On the third from the bottom step the bag let go with the contents emptying almost completely on the second and first steps and the cellar floor. And I didn't even swear!

I hate having to keep those things, but they are legal records. Once the time has expired, and grade appeals are no longer possible, the shredder and I have a fun packed afternoon, usually filling up 6 or 7 garbage bags. I have a fun filled life, I do.

My normal hours are 7 to 4. Sometimes, I will come in at 6:30 and leave at 3:30. Found out I can't do that anymore. If I come in at 6:30 and leave at 3:30, I will be docked for a half hour. Unfair, in my opinion.

But, on the back of the form they ask for all sorts of personal information that I don't want A$$kroft to get his hands on!

Also, they want telephone numbers and email address!

My husband has been whining about me keeping my hair at least shoulder length. I told him I would as long as he quits smoking. Well, he is still puffing away, so today I went and got it cut fairly short and I swear I lost 10 years. The guy that does my hair is great with highlights too. No grey hairs showing here! So now I am a sassy younger woman. Makes me smile.
