Yippee! One of my favorite cheesy movies!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

What's your favorite scene or quote from the movie? I love Helen Lawson (though Neely has some great lines). This Helen Lawson quote was on my answering machine in college:

"Look, they drummed you right out of Hollywood. So you come crawling back to Brawdway. Well, Brawdway doesn't go for booze and dope!"

3. I wish I had Oxygen! That's my favorite bad movie--I mean, it's just so
bad that it's good!

I bet Patty Duke was thinking "Second Oscar" when she signed on to that role!

4. Personally, I thought Patty sucked big ones in this movie
Except on a campy level. I love the movie though! Especially the catfight in the restroom!

8. Yeah, the whole movie did, that's why it's fun!
But come on, a pill popping starlet--I'm sure she figured the role would highlight her dramatic abilities. I mean, I think she's a good actress, but she obvioulsy misjudged how the role would play out.

6. Fox Movie Channel showed an "annotated" version
a couple of weeks ago, with subtitles giving fun facts about the film.

It was a great guilty pleasure. :7

Edited on Thu Jan-08-04 09:08 PM by thebigidea
This is my happening, and it freaks me out!

The last time I saw that in the theater, for some reason I was the only person laughing. This really confused me.

11. when I lived in Chicago, I thanked him for it
I said its ultimately what he'll be remembered for.

whenever I see Ebert criticize a movie I like, I just remember the line he himself penned:

"You will taste the black sperm... of my VENGEANCE!"

12. Saw him at London Heathrow once, in the lounge area where everyone
is while waiting to hear which gate your flight will be at. he was buying lots in the expensive shops--movie reviewing sure pays well, I guess!
