Does anyone find the plethora of copycat threads annoying?
I just came to the Lounge, and I'm not really interested in who's come fact-to-face with whatever or in comments to leave the whatever twins alone. Those are taking up a large portion of the front page--whatever will I do now to fritter away a few hours?

1. It's Sort Of Become a Lounge Tradition
I know sometimes we get carried away, but the Lounge is supposed to be light-hearted.

2. the number of locked threads at one time
has to be a DU record. This is odd. Shouldn't there be a mod message?

3. nope
It's a tradition.
Some are very clever and I usually enjoy them.
They also don't usually get many replies and sink fast.

5. I would suggest that, as this is a thread about locked threads,
it should itself be locked. :)

7. I agree
I spent about half an hour composing a post for one of those threads tonight. Waste of time. They are very witty, but could certainly go as a thread under the original post and be just as funny. As an aside, I am not a newbie, even though my number of posts may look like I am.
