Joining "paradigm" and "dichotomy" in the place where words go to pasture after becoming morbidly obese through overuse. :)

4. There is a virtual plethora of words I find annoying
but that isn't one of them..but I do hate it when people mispronounce it. :D

7. Annoyed at it's misuse, actually.
It should mean "too much". And it is usually used to mean "a lot".

Of course, wrongly used enough, it becomes right.


But I REALLY hate the only other way talking heads avoid saying "a lot": treasure trove. The next time I hear it, I think it'll shiver me timbers.

but we decided on Chlamydia.
