Anyone see that new M&Ms commercial w/ Judy Garland?

While they're desecrating Judy, it's really a nicely done commercial and the voice imitator is terrific!

2. Not sure I want to see that...they should just leave dead legends alone!

I guess to use her image (as well as others) they don't need permission from her estate, because the rights to whatever movie/tv appearance,. etc they took her image from, belongs to whatever studio that owns the right to said above.

This should be a lesson to us all--never get famous, and never die.

Way back in the 1970s (I think) Ford had some commercials that ripped off Casablanca----the scene with Rick Blaine and Sam. My father vowed he would never ever buy a Ford after that. And he kept his word. (Of course he had always been a dyed-in-the-wool Studebaker man anyway, so it wasn't like he was chomping at the bit to buy a Ford anyway.

But then again, Judy is revered as a goddess amongst my people, and we don't take lightly to cheap imitators ;)
