From the point that Martin Sheen's character got pushed on was just a wild ride.
I shouted "nooooooooo" twice in about a three second timespan. Then, Marky Mark saved the day at the end.
That film was totally engrossing.

but c'mon, it was the same thing as the Chinese film "Infernal Affairs", just culturally translated. I saw "Infernal affairs" just a few days ago and was surprised how the films were almost identical. Though I do think Scorcese fleshed out the characters better and gave them more development. But then again, he also made his movie an hour longer than the original. I understand why Scorcesse wanted to redo it, because the plot is very compelling.
But I think the best picture should go to something original. And that it wasn't.
I am glad though he finally got recognized and won though. It was about time.
