...since you're running Ubuntu by default you're using GNOME. Then, just customize the desktop, and the task bar ( I have the transparency set high). I'm also using a program called gdesklets which is where the city time bar at the top, and the CPU, Mem,
and throughput monitors on the right side come from. It's very easy. In case you don't have it already, this is probably the best
and easiest to follow guides for Ubuntu on the planet. Good luck, and if you need anything else more specifif, don't hesitate to
