I've spoken to several DUers via phone: Dirk, NSMA, David, Zomby, Opihimoimoi, Lazarus, Dabbedow, Kephra, NYYFan, KG ........

I socialize at times with Ulysses and his wife. He lives about 15 minutes from me. (Mike Malloy is my neighbor, too, as he lives about 5 minutes away -- tho I haven't seen him since the summer).

And I'm dating a DUer. But he lives in another state :D

There are two incredibly wonderful guys who I knew before I'd ever come to DU who I've dragged kicking and screaming into this electronic den of inquity.

And there are some deeply treasured friendships that have grown out of DU. Several of which have evolved past the forum boards.

It's a pretty great bunch.

My guess is that we'd meet up somewhere in Pennsylvania.

Unfortunately, it's really not a good idea to plan a road trip anywhere in the northern United States during the first three months of the year. As such, we may have to delay our initial meet-up until the spring.

I dont wanna name names because I may sound biased but there are plenty I talk to outside of DU, and hell guys maybe now we can talk on the phone because I gots a cell phone, and the service is good, although I personally hate to talk on the phone however.
