What calendar did you choose for 2004?
Visited my first "just calendars" store today - apparently I've been missing a cult. Calendars of just:

- Outhouses
- Giraffes
- Jackasses (donkeys, not Repugs)
- Eminem
- 1965 Mustangs
- Every breed of dog & cat
- Tattoos
- Almost every state & major city, including Texas
- polar bears (2 of them HEy HEy)
- parrots
- Lightning strikes (way kewl)
- 70 year-old mostly naked women
- 70 year-old mostly naked men

I spent about an hour there just taking in this new Americana. Since they'd sold out of Alaska calendars, I settled on Antarctica. For those of you who looked, which one did you choose this year? What were the wierdest calendars you saw?

10. Let's see...
I got a Far Side calendar for Christmas. This is in my study. I bought a Boris Vallejo calendar for the bedroom and one titled "Over the Rails" which has train illustrations from the 30s and 40s in my kitchen.

19. Gustav Klimt And Salvador Dali
I always get a Klimt calendar, but I try to get ones that have his landscapes and not just "The Kiss," "Judith II" and "Danae." I love those as well, but I've seen reproductions of those a zillion times already!

20. Got two this year...lucky me
All time favorite of course is the Far Side ...kids in my classroom can never keep their hands off either....

Plus my wife gave me a Bushisms....What a hoot! Guess I'll get nasty comments from colleagues and parents...oh well it's worth it. I'll use it as a way to teach proper English and grammar skills to my students that often use poor grammar....and I'm a history teacher, not an English teacher.....Bushisms hehehehehe....
