After reading a portion of "The Way of the Weasel" by Dilbert's creator, Scott Adams, I experienced an epiphany. If I picture the faces of the likes of Shrubby,Tom DeLay, Ari Fleischer, Rush Limpballs, etc., it becomes glaringly evident that the ruling junta is loaded with weasels of the first degree from top to bottom. Weasels aren't highly intelligent, but they don't have to be. They are successful because they have learned the way of the weasel. This book reads like a primer on GOP policy and tactics. Hell, maybe it is! Weasels thrive in the corporate environment, and this bunch has corporatized the government and are busy doing the same to the entire world. The real boss is easy to identify. Cheney is the quintessential pointy-haired manager.I think Shrub's popularity in spite of his weasel ways can be explained by the hold of the corporate culture over most Americans. They know a consummate Weasel when they see one, and have noted that these are the most successful and wealthy people in their company and community. It's a wink and a nod.
