If a draft REALLY does get started. And I am able and in the right place and time to do it. I'll aid any draft dodger who needs to hide out in Canada.
So if it happens, PM me, we'll work something out.

2. Will you also marry all of us DU gals who will |
|
be looking to move to Canada if Smirk wins this year, and who could use a Canadian husband to smooth things along? Or how about this-you could develop your own "harem", so to speak, so we could all emigrate!!!!!!!!

But I'll have to check on that.

7. Well, you could still have |
|
your own secret harem! We wouldn't tell anyone; we'd be too busy making you happy to reward you for your generosity!

If Bush wins. Dad wants to go to Canada or New Zealand. I'm hoping Canada, since it's a little closer to home and, let's face it, the rest of the world. (On the other hand, I could walk on the sme ground Orlando Bloom walked on, lol)

13. Well, he actually told it to his father-in-law |
|
My grandpa, when they were discussing how they seriously thought Bush is getting our country into deep shit. (His words, not mine)
We went on vacation in Winnepeg once, but I was pretty young and I don't remember a lot about it. While my dad might be bluffing, he can surprise you. I mean, I didn't think he'd get me a dog for my 5th birthday but, voila, here I am with my golden retriever! I would miss a lot of my friends if I moved, because I've lived in Minnesota all my life. Still, I would welcome the change, because, well, I'e lived here all my life. :)

Your place as a stop on the Underground Railroad is duly noted.
Hopefully this will not be necessary.

Just say the word. Preferential treatment offered to Slinkerwink, but first come, first served.

You're not supposed to tell them about the floorboards part. You're supposed to keep up this facade of Canadian bonhomie and goodwill, eh!
But perhaps I've said too much already...

my husband is there now, really likes it, despite the subzero weather in Toronto this week. He's from upstate NY, so he can handle it. It's close to his family too.
I was surprised that my dad is thinking of moving to BC. At Christmas he was asking me all about the immigration stuff.
And I think I just today found a buyer for my house in the desert. Things are looking up.
