Just saw "An Inconvenient Truth".
Our local South Baldwin Democrats hosted a showing.
It was moving.
And if it's not an EXCELLENT 'campaign' video, then there ain't a dog in Georgia.

I actually teared up at the end.
And there was a standing ovation.

Al Gore HAS to run.
Period.

1. My SO who doesn't generally watch documentaries
was riveted. He's also someone who, until he met me, had never voted and had never really paid attention to politics. And he said the same thing -

He HAS to run.

2. Yep, I almost cried (in public, ugh)
Saw in over a month ago, and it's still in my head.

3. I don't understand
people who were saying parts bored them. I was pretty much riveted the entire movie! I would SO vote for Gore again if he decides to run, and I'd actually be able to do some work for it, since I'm not a pregnant mess (and don't plan on it in the near future).

4. We've already seen it, but our 13 yr old son wanted to rent it.
we're watching it with the kids tonite. It'll probably go over our 10 yr old's head, but I was happily surprised at our son's interest.

:hi: I agree with you about Gore. I'd love to see him run.

6. Did everyone "boo" when Bush was announced
as president?

I've seen it (publicly) twice, and both times there were loud boos from the audience at that point.

And I'm in Canada.
