HEyHEY has done a dangerous thing! He got me thinking! Does heterosexuals wonder about homosexuals and vis versa? Post that started this thinking process: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=632705

1. I don't need to "wonder" about homosexuals. |
|
Over the last 20+ years, I've had dozens of GLBT friends. And if there's one thing I've learned, it's that the GLBT community is just as diverse as the so-called "straight" world.

Wondering about another way of life is still human nature. Sort of like poor people wondering about being rich and the rich wondering what it would be like poor.

6. It's not really another way of life. |
|
The only thing different about my way of life is that when I do the laundry, there are not two different types of undergarments (i.e., all we have are panties) and that there are two different bra sizes.
Our relationships are fundamentally no different. Maybe some relationship problems are caused by two near-matching sets of hormone levels; imagine two cases of raging PMS under one roof, for example. But we argue the same, divide chores the same, entertain the same, have in-laws battles the same, etc., etc., as straight couples.
As for me, I wonder about how straight women do it. I have no aversion to men but I don't think I could live with one. I admire straight women a great deal.

I have lots of gays friends and I love them dearly, but the idea of actually having sex with another man just does nothing for me.

Why wonder about heterosexuals when het sex via movies, TV, magazine articles, Times Square billboards, Calvin Klein ads, etc., etc., etc., remove any mystery?
That's not a complaint, but an observation; let's just put it this way: heterosexuality is everywhere, and there's next to nothing to wonder about.
Make sense?

5. I realized my answer was not accurate |

I've never wondered about the lifestyle. But, I once considered kissing a man to see what it would be like.
