Has anyone read Gore Vidal's "Creation" ?
I just picked it up at a used bookstore it looks like an intriguing read. I need a break from politcal books, how is it? I have already read three of Vidal’s books he has rapidly become my favorite political writer. I’m reading H.G. wells “ The Time Machine” right now it’s a two-day read for me.

1. One of my favorite books ever is Vidal's
"Kalki". Have you read it? I have never met anyone (other than the person who gave me the book) that has.

3. I read it probably 20 years ago...
I remember loving it, but don't remember it all that well. Perhaps I should read it again.

2. Funny about this book, which I think is a chef d'oeuvre
I read it when it came out and would love to read it again.

Most of his historical books deal with American history, this one deals with the history of the world. Fascinating, and like all of Vidal, funny and a great read. I leanred more about ancient religions and philosophies from this book than I have from scores of others combined.

Happy Reading Beforeathought!
