I'm single and go elsewhere for the holidays. Unless I'm throwing some kind of holiday party, I don't decorate much.
In theory, I would take my decorations down on January 6th or thereabouts, since the Feast of Epiphany officially ends the liturgical season of Christmas. That's what would make sense and what I observed when I pastoring a church.
At my house, I try to get them down by Ash Wednesday :)

on the twelth day of christmas which is January 5. Christmas was traditionally observed for twleve days, hence the carol about the partridge in the pear tree. :-)
