I just snagged another jewel
I found and downloaded the original Orson Welles broadcast of War Of The Worlds.

Damn, I'm good!

I'll never forgive 'em for putting Tom Cruise in a laughable "remake" of a perfect movie version of it...

2. It was a far simpler time to live in
and people were far more willing to believe what they heard on the radio, no matter how unlikely the subject of the broadcast.

As well as "The Panic Broadcast," the story of the show and its aftermath, written by Howard Koch, who wrote the script.

Some station in Buffalo did an updated version of it around 1971 and did a hell of a job. It's at http://www.reelradio.com , but you gotta donate to listen.



Edit: Forgot to say I thought this thread was gonna be about a certain body mod. :D
