Kicked ass. The cat has a tone like liquid playing across your mind, and sometimes you get these little upper-register flutters that make you feel like you just saw straight down to the bottom of a tidepool or something, or looked up and saw a shooting star. I could see him hitting those far-right keys, and could feel in my own fingers how easily they drop into place. Good interplay between bass/drums/piano, too. Reminded me of Bill Evans with Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian, in a way.
