Spent the whole day with my puppy

We dropped off my son at school, went to a big open field to romp and play fetch, came back to the neighborhood and went for a long walk, stopping for coffee and to let everyone pet the pup. Then we came home for a nice nap together. Now he's asleep on the couch next to me. (Hey, get your paw off my shift key.)

2. Gotta take those opportunities when you have them

I'm hoping the time we spend together while I'm unemployed will help puppy grow up into a loving, well-adjusted dog.
